Frequently Encountered Species

 The star of our charters. These invasive fish provide fast-paced action while every fish removed helps improve the health of the Snake River. 

 Their long, flowing fins make butterfly carp a rare and highly sought-after trophy within the bowfishing community. 

 Their distinctive patchwork scales make mirror carp instantly recognizable and a prized trophy among experienced bowfishers. 

 A newer invasive species in Idaho, Prussian carp are slowly expanding their range throughout regional waterways. 

 Often cruising after dark, channel catfish are a common sight beneath our lights and always catch guests by surprise. 

 One of Idaho's favorite game fish. We love seeing healthy bass populations thriving in the same waters we're working to conserve. 

 Often mistaken for carp, sucker fish are native to Idaho and can be legally harvested during our bowfishing trips. 

 Often spotted swimming or feeding along the shoreline, muskrats are a common and fascinating part of the Snake River ecosystem. 

 Listen for their unmistakable calls and watch for them along the shoreline as we cruise the Snake River after dark. 

 Mule deer are frequently seen feeding or drinking along the riverbanks, especially during the quieter hours of our charters. 

 Although rarely seen, mountain lions inhabit the surrounding canyon and are a reminder of Idaho's wild landscape. We enjoy seeing them from afar and from the safety of our boat.

Several duck species call the Snake River home, and they're commonly seen gliding across the water or taking flight at dusk.
